Rooted in a lifelong love of art, Monica has spent the last 17 years teaching art to high school students. She alternates between a variety of drawing and painting media, often working alongside her students in whatever media they are studying. Some of her favorites include batik, acrylic painting, and printmaking.

Monica has placed in juried shows, exhibited in galleries and shops, and worked on a commission basis. She is currently partnered with Art-o-Mat to sell mini art pieces in retired cigarette vending machines around the country.
